United Way of Central Kansas (UWCK) is excited to announce the return of its popular Beer & BBQ Event, happening Sunday, Oct. 12 from 1–4 p.m. at Dry Lake Brewing.
This relaxed, community-focused fundraiser combines the best of local craft beer and savory BBQ—all in support of programs and initiatives that strengthen Central Kansas.
Attendees will enjoy a curated tasting experience with four ½ pours (or equivalent) of Dry Lake Brewing’s craft beers, allowing each guest to explore and sample from their favorite brews.
To complement the craft beer, A&G Catering will serve up a mouthwatering BBQ spread featuring BBQ Ribs, Shredded Beef Sliders, Sliced Beef Tenderloin, and White Chicken Chili. Along with the sample plate of delicious BBQ there will be an assortment of Perkins Cookies to appease your sweet tooth.
“This event is one of our favorite ways to bring people together,” said Charell Owings, Executive Director of UWCK. “It’s an afternoon of great food and drinks, but more importantly, it’s an opportunity to invest in the programs that lift up families and individuals in our community.”
