From the Chamber
The Great Bend Chamber of Commerce held a Chamber Coffee and Ribbon Cutting for new Chamber Member Angels Care Home Health on Thursday, March 26.
Angels Care Home Health serves patients across Kansas and 13 additional states, offering skilled nursing, restorative therapy, disease management programs, and specialized behavioral health services. During the event, Account Executive Tyler Dougherty emphasized the accessibility of their services for Medicare recipients, noting, “Everything that we do for you, we bill directly to Medicare.”
The Russell office, which supports Barton County, has earned national recognition within the company’s multi‑state network. Their team recently celebrated a major achievement when nurse Stacy Beck was named LPN of the Year across all 14 states served. Beck provides care to patients throughout the region and is part of a growing team that includes nurses, therapists, and support staff serving approximately 70 patients in Barton County.
Angels Care’s services are designed to help patients remain safely at home while managing new diagnoses, recovering from surgery, or preventing avoidable hospitalizations. Their disease management programs support individuals living with chronic conditions such as COPD, Parkinson’s, heart failure, diabetes, and chronic pain.
The organization also offers specialized behavioral health services for patients experiencing anxiety, depression, dementia‑related behaviors, and more. These services are provided by clinicians trained in behavioral health, a distinction that sets Angels Care apart in many rural communities.
In addition to skilled nursing and therapy, Angels Care provides 24/7 on‑call support, ensuring patients can reach a nurse at any time, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Their team also helps connect families with additional resources such as private‑duty care or hospice when needed.
With more than 25 years of experience in home health care, Angels Care focuses on compassionate, patient‑centered service delivered wherever patients call home.
Community members can be referred by their provider or contact Angels Care Home Health directly for an in‑home assessment. For more information call (785) 205-1690 or visit www.angelscarehealth.com.
