No parking on certain Great Bend streets during repairs

Street repairs have started on several roads in Great Bend this week.

The City of Great Bend is asking everyone to not park on several of the streets for the next two days as the chip and seal with a fog coat repairs are ongoing.

Citizens should refrain from parking on:
Lakin - McKinley to K96
Eisenhower -10th to MacArthur Street
Sheridan -10th to K96
Coolidge -1100 block
Forest Avenue -Wilson to Coolidge
Harding -10th to Broadway
Wilson -12th to Broadway
Telestar Lane
Apollo Avenue- 1700 block
17th street terrace
Heritage Lane
Walnut Street- 10th to 281 bypass
MacArthur- 10th to 7th

The city will attempt to contact those who are still parked on the streets.

PLEASE BE ADVISDED: Vehicles, that have not been moved when work commences, will need to be towed.

The city asks that you stat attentive as crews work in these areas. Great Bend officials will make every effort to minimize the impact to traffic.
