
Donations to the Kansas Livestock Foundation (KLF) have exceeded over $1.5 million. For relief efforts to farmers and ranchers impacted by the December 15th wildfire and severe storms across the state.
According to the Kansas Livestock Association (KLA) weekly newsletter approximately 1,231 individuals and companies have contributed to the KLF relief fund. Matt Teagarden, Chief Executive Officer with KLA says that the “KLF has a proven process to equitably distribute funds collected, with every dollar donated going to those Kansas producers impacted by the recent weather event”. Applicants do not have to be KLA members.

KLF was established in 1983 to operate solely and exclusively for charitable, scientific and educational purposes that advance the interests of the Kansas livestock industry.
