Tina Louise (Dykes) Alonzo, 61, passed away July 6, 2024, at Azria Health Great Bend. She was born April 19, 1963, in Great Bend to Bill E. and Theresa (Hipp) Dykes.
Tina, a current resident of Ellinwood, growing up in Great Bend and previously residing in St. John and Rexford, was a member of Prince of Peace Parish and AA. She worked as a Registered Pharmacy Tech, speech para educator, legal secretary, and enjoyed her employment at Dillons and Dairy Queen. Above all, her most heart felt accomplishments were found within helping people. Tina enjoyed sewing, cooking, reading, fellowship through AA, and in her younger years, was a talented water and snow skier.
Survivors include one son, Ethan Walter and his beloved yellow lab Iggy of Menlo; two daughters Audrea Wood and husband Jonathon of Manhattan and Aisha Moss and husband Tanner of Rexford; four grandchildren, Jacob and Owen Wood, and Adelynn and Thayne Moss; five brothers, Mark Dykes of Blaine, Minn., Jeff Dykes and wife Carol of Centennial, Colo.; Luke Dykes and wife Renee of Great Bend, Gary Dykes of Great Bend, and Matt Dykes and wife Tami of Great Bend; four sisters, Lois Dominguez of Great Bend, Gail Cooper and husband Carl of Great Bend, Jane Maresch and husband Edward of Salina, and Lori Morris and husband Tim of Colby; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces and nephews, and friends. She was preceded in passing by her parents.
Per Tina’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 11, 2024, at St. Rose Of Lima Catholic Church, Great Bend with Father Prakash Kola presiding. A Rosary will be held 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 10, at Bryant Funeral Home, Great Bend.
