The United Way of Central Kansas (UWCK) is reminding local nonprofit and governmental organizations that the deadline to apply for the UWCK Impact Grant Program is May 14, 2026.
The UWCK Impact Grant Program offers funding of up to $1,000 per year to eligible programs serving Barton and Pawnee Counties. These grants are designed to support projects that strengthen communities in UWCK’s focus areas: Healthy Communities, Youth Opportunity, and Financial Security.
Impact Grants fund specific programs or initiatives that address unmet needs, provide innovative solutions, and demonstrate measurable outcomes. Applicants are encouraged to request up to $1,000 and provide clear supporting details outlining the anticipated impact of their project.
Applications are reviewed twice each year, in May and November, with total annual funding not to exceed $5,000.
UWCK is proud to partner with organizations making a meaningful difference across Central Kansas. Past recipients of the Impact Grant Program include the Central Kansas Dream Center, Barton County Core Community, Ellinwood Community Library, USD 495, and USD 428.
