Vivian Onugha of the Barton Community College women's basketball team picked up her third conference honor this season after being named the Week 13 KJCCC Division I Women's Basketball Player of the Week recipient.

Despite the constant focus of opposing defenses, the sophomore forward continued her dominance for the Cougars with a pair of double doubles as Barton split a pair of conference games last week.

In Wednesday's rough result hosting Butler, Onugha was the lone Cougar to reach double-figures with a team leading three-steals, 11-points, and 11-rebound in a home loss.

Saturday at Pratt, Onugha poured in a career-high tying 29 points on 65 percent shooting and grabbed 22 rebounds moving into sole possession of the third slot in program single season and career lists.

The honor is the third in the last five weeks for Onugha, fourth of her career, having now earned consecutive conference awardings along with the Week 9 KJCCC and NJCAA distinction this season.

Onugha and the Cougars are back on the court this evening hosting Seward County Community College for a 5:30 p.m. tip-off. Barton sits in eighth place at 8-10 and 12-12 overall while the Saints look to hold on to their fifth place standing at 10-7 and 15-8 on the season.
