USD 112 Central Plains will be closed on Monday, Jan. 6.

USD 351 Macksville will be closed on Monday, Jan. 6.
USD 355 Ellinwood will be closed Monday, Jan. 6 and all activities canceled.
USD 395 La Crosse is canceled for Monday, Jan. 6.
USD 428 Great Bend is canceling the Jan. 6 Teacher Workday due to weather. Teachers may enter with caution after noon to work in their classrooms. The USD 428 District Office will be open. The district is planning to resume school on Tuesday, Jan 7.
The Great Bend Children's Learning Center will be closed on Monday, Jan. 6.
USD 431 Schools will have no work day or In-service on Monday, Jan. 6. Please stay home and safe. We will reschedule the Lab Activity. Please keep an eye on your email for details for the 2025 Wellness Challenge.
WARMING SHELTER AVAILABLE
Live Like Jesus Ministries in Great Bend will be opening a Warming Shelter on Saturday, Jan. 4 at 4 p.m. The shelter will be located in the Anchor Room on the east side of the Dream Center, 2100 Broadway Ave. in Great Bend. The Shelter will be open 24 hours through Monday at least.

Mail routes from Wichita and Hutchinson have been shut down. There will be no mail delivery in Barton County on Monday, Jan. 6.

Great Bend Front Door Facility will be closed on Monday, Jan. 6. (Previously, they were hoping for a delayed opening)
The Great Bend Brit Spaugh Zoo is closed on Monday, Jan. 6.
