DETROIT (AP) — Jordan Love converted a pair of fourth downs with touchdown passes in the first half and finished with a career-high-matching four touchdown throws, leading the Green Bay Packers to a 31-24 win over the Detroit Lions on Thursday. UNDATED (AP) — Masters and U.S. Open champion Fuzzy Zoeller has died at the age of 74. Zoeller was one of golf's most gregarious characters and great champions. But his career was tainted by a racially insensitive joke he made about Tiger Woods at the 1997 Masters. Woods was on his way to the most dominant victory in Augusta National history. Zoeller in a CNN interview jokingly said for Woods not to serve fried chicken at the Masters Club dinner. He apologized. He says he got death threats. He said years later he had come to realize that moment would never go away.
KISSIMMEE, Fla. (AP) — Kennard Davis Jr., scored 18 points and AJ Dybantsa led a second-half surge that lifted No. 9 BYU to a 72-62 win over Miami in the ESPN Events Invitational. The Cougars trailed by four at halftime but Dybantsa opened the second half with a jumper and had 12 points by the time 10-0 and 7-0 runs gave BYU a 59-45 lead with 6:52 to play. Malik Reneau scored 14 points and grabbed nine rebounds for Miami. Shelton Henderson added 13 points and Tre Donaldson 12. Robert Wright III scored 17 points and Dybantsa added 16 with eight rebounds for the Cougars.
SAN DIEGO (AP) — Brock Harding made a go-ahead jumper in the key with 48 seconds left and then hit five free throws in the final 13 seconds for TCU, which rallied to stun No. 10 Florida 84-80 in the first game of the Rady Children’s Invitational. Jace Posey scored 16 of his game-high 21 points in the second half and helped the Horned Frogs rally from a 10-point deficit five minutes into the second half. CHICAGO (AP) — Jaylen Curry scored 18 points, Anthony Roy had all of his 16 points in the final eight-plus minutes, and Oklahoma State beat Northwestern 86-81 at the Thanksgiving Classic. Vyctorius Miller added 17 points for Oklahoma State (7-0) and Parsa Fallah had 13 points and 11 rebounds. The Cowboys are off to their best start since the 2019-20 team also won its first seven games. Nick Martinelli had 28 points and 10 rebounds for Northwestern (5-2). Angelo Ciaravino scored 11 of his 14 points in the second half and Arrinten Page scored 11. Martinelli converted a three-point play to trim the deficit to a point with 34 seconds left. Kanye Clary, Miller and Isaiah Coleman each made 2 of 2 from the free-throw line from there to seal it.

CINCINNATI (AP) — Eastern Michigan has secured a 64-56 victory over Cincinnati on Wednesday night. Carlos Hart scored 15 points, helping Eastern Michigan build a big early lead. The Eagles led by as many as 17 points in the first half. Cincinnati used a 15-2 run to cut the deficit to 48-47 with just over five minutes remaining. However, Eastern Michigan pulled away with free throws and a Hart 3-pointer. Mohammad Habhab added 13 points for Eastern Michigan, which shot 43% overall. Day Day Thomas led Cincinnati with 17 points.
