Wheatland Electric announced that registration is open for their fourth annual Co-ops Care Charity Golf Tournament, which will take place Friday, Sept. 16 at The Golf Club at Southwind in Garden City.
All proceeds will benefit Cram the Van, Wheatland's annual food drive designed to raise both cash and can donations for a dozen local food banks across our service territory. Since 2014, their efforts have raised over 86 tons of food to stock local food pantries ahead of the holiday season.
The charity golf tournament is also the kickoff event for Cram the Van. The entry fees for the 4-man scramble with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. CT is $100 per player or $400 per team of four. Players will be provided a light breakfast, lunch, beverage tickets, registration gift bag and the opportunity to win hole prizes and flighted tournament prizes.
For online registration or sponsorship opportunities, visit https://www.weci.net/coops-care. Paper registration forms are available upon request.
All proceeds from our event will benefit hungry families across our southwest and central Kansas communities.
