Impact Program, or donating through a Workplace Campaign, every contribution—big or small—helps build a stronger, more resilient community.
Thanks to this generosity, UWCK can continue offering its signature Impact Programs, These include:
· Dolly Parton's Imagination Library – Over 800 children receive free books at home each month, giving them a head start before Kindergarten.
· Laundry Love – Monthly events in Great Bend and Larned provide free laundry services to those in need.
· Auto Care Access – Helping families maintain their vehicles when they’re in a financial pinch.

“The generosity of our community never ceases to amaze me,” said Charell Owings, UWCK Executive Director. “Every dollar donated, every item given for our auctions, and every volunteer hour contributed tells the story of a community that cares deeply about one another. This campaign’s success is truly a reflection of that spirit. We are honored to continue this work, knowing that so many stand beside us. Together, we’re helping families when they’re struggling, we’re teaching the next generation to be financially empowered, and we’re giving children the tools they need to thrive before they ever step foot into a classroom.”
United Way of Central Kansas extends heartfelt thanks to all who contributed to this year’s campaign and remains committed to creating lasting impact for years to come.
