From the City of Great Bend...
City of Great Bend Street crews will begin work in the 2000 block of 8th Street starting Tuesday, May 2. The city will be replacing the alley approaches and fixing the area around the manhole.
Expect the area to be closed to traffic for approximately three weeks, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting. This block will be closed to all traffic.
Please be attentive and aware as the city works to make repairs in the area and be prepared to take alternate routes around the work.
