The Kansas Wetlands Education Center is now accepting enrollment for its field biology summer camps in July. The camps are designed for students who have completed 1st through 6th grades and will be held from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. each Tuesday and Thursday. Camp themes include wilderness survival, animal communication, invertebrate exploration, herpetology, animal engineering, weather and noctural animals. Cost is $10 per session and pre-registration is required as space fills up fast. The Kansas Wetlands Education Center is on Highway 156 between Great Bend and Claflin.
