Join the Great Bend Recreation Commission for a fantastic PAWesome Easter Egg Hunt for your four-legged canine friends. The event will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 1, at Veteran’s Memorial Park next to the Dog Park.
Easter eggs will have small pet-friendly treats inside of them, and others will have vouchers for larger prizes. The hunt will be divided into two sections, Small Dog Breed Hunt and Large Dog Breed Hunt. For everyone’s safety, all dogs must be on a leash at all times.
Registration for the event begins at 1 p.m. and the egg hunt will begin at 1:15 p.m. A fee of $5 per dog will be collected and proceeds will go to improvements at the dog park.
In case of inclement weather, the event will be cancelled.
