Debra Rose Langer, 70, passed away on Aug. 11, 2022, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. She was born on Jan. 31, 1952, in Great Bend, to Albion and Marcelline (Schwartz) Suchy. She married Robert “Bob” Langer July 1, 2002, in Great Bend.
A lifetime Great Bend resident, Debra was a retired custodian for Barton Community College and USD 428. She was a member of Prince of Peace Parish at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church and the Altar Society. She liked playing bingo and tending to plants and flowers. Debra enjoyed spending time with her family but especially loved being with her grandchildren.
Survivors include, her husband Bob Langer of the home; two sons, Travis Moos (Kimmie Christendon) and Curtis Moos (Rachel Corn) all of Great Bend; a daughter, Tammy Cruse (Tim) of Sedgwick; a brother, Randy Suchy (Cristy) of Great Bend; four sisters, Diane Morris of Hoisington, Brenda Ohnmacht (Steve) of Great Bend, Arlene Manning (Greg) of Ellinwood and Coleen "Coke" Suchy of Bushton; a sister in law, Kay Suchy of Great Bend; and ten grandchildren, Sydney Moos (Christian Pierce), Camryn Moos, Kaleigh Sheets, Addilie Sheets, Waylon Sheets, Addison Moos, Landon Moos, Natalie Moos, Heather Cruse and Kyle Cruse. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Rick Suchy; and brother in law, Wade Morris.
Visitation will be held from Noon to 8 p.m., Monday, Aug. 15, 2022 at Bryant Funeral Home, with Altar Society Rosary and prayer service at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2022, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church with Father Aneesh Parappanattu presiding. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park in Great Bend. Memorials have been designated to Golden Belt Humane Society or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
