Dylan Schneider has shared the country music stage with acts like Florida Georgia Line, Morgan Wallen, Ella Langley, Chris Lane, and Luke Bryan. Tomorrow night, he will share it with Great Bend at the 14th annual Party in the Park. Concert gates open Saturday night at 6 p.m. at Al Burns Field. Local favorite Homebrew takes the stage at 7:30 p.m., then it’s Schneider’s turn.
“We’re going to have the best time ever, the best songs ever,” Schneider said on a recent appearance on 100.7 Eagle Country’s "Morning's with Shannon and Evan" program. “I plan on playing the best show I’ve ever played yet that day. You’ve got to be there. You’ve got to be ready. You have to check out some of the songs before you pull up, and be ready to come drink, party, and have a good time.”
Schneider released his “Puzzled” album in 2024, just before headlining the Bad Decisions Tour that spanned the country. He is making waves in the country music world as a singer, but already has a Top 5 hit as a writer with “Momma’s House,” performed by Dustin Lynch. Things have really taken off for the Indiana native in the last few years.
“I guess coming up on two years now this summer, we got to go out on tour with Luke Bryan,” said Schneider. “It was the coolest thing ever. We got to play the amphitheater where I grew up going to concerts my whole life. I got to open up for him there. I’d seen him there like four times. I feel like getting to do that and having my family and friends there, and getting to be on that stage, that was a big moment. That was like, ‘Wow, we’re doing the things we always dreamed of.”
Schneider asks Great Bend to come prepared for Saturday’s show. One of his favorite songs to play is “Ain’t Missing You,” and “Bad Decisions” is another song fans can expect.
“Those are a couple off my record I put out at the end of 2024,” he said. “They’ve both been killing it, so I’d like for everybody to jump in and have some fun with those.”
General admission for Saturday’s concert is $14 at the gate. Cash only will be accepted at the gate, but digital purchases will still be available. Coolers are allowed, though no glass will be allowed. For those not wanting to tote around a cooler, Charlie’s Mobile Bar Cart will be serving up beverages.
