STAFFORD COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before 9:30a.m. Thursday in Stafford County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 1994 Chevy 1500 driven by Cindy S. Collins, 58, Stafford, was northbound on South Main Street at U.S. 50. The driver failed to yield. A westbound 2011 Kenworth semi driven by Jared D. Kirchgassner, 40, McLouth, struck the pickup on the right side.
EMS transported Collins to the Stafford County Hospital. Kirchgassner was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
