J. Lee Figger

STAFFORD –  J. Lee Figger, 88, died Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at Stafford County Hospital, Stafford.  Born December 17, 1932 at Stafford he was the son of Jesse A. and Ruby Ward Figger.  He was a veteran of the US Army 1953-55 serving with the 10th Infantry Division at Germany and from 1955-61 with the US Army Reserve.  He was a farmer and stock-man.  On August 3, 1957 he  married Carolyn Sue Long at Flippin, Ark.  He is survived by his wife: Sue.  Sons: David (Kathy) Figger and Matt (Laurie) Figger.  Brother: Fowler Figger. Grandchildren: Bobby (Heather) Figger, Bruce (Megan) Figger, Bryan (Amelia) Figger, Andy (Kayle) Figger, Aaron (Mercedes) Figger, Sarah (Ross) Harrison, Kelsie (Gabe) Toon, Matthew Figger, T.J. (Amanda) Hearn, Krystal (Chad) Ludlum, Katie (Ed) Greene.

Great-grandchildren: Kira, Abby, Kyler, Ashtyn, Annika, Asher, Gavin, Melia, Aaron Jr. “AJ”, Allie, Mazie, Austen, Allison, Samuel, Elliott, Noah, Alivia, Ariya, Elijah, Knox and Richard.

Preceded in death by gt. grandson: Corbin and sister: Alice Mae Gamble.

Funeral service was 2:00 p..m., Saturday, August 21 at Minnis Chapel, Stafford.  Burial at Stafford Cemetery.  Memorials may be sent to Heart to Heart Child Advocate Center, in care of Minnis Chapel.  Video of the funeral is available at the MinnisChapel.com.
