From the League of Women Voters - Great Bend
In recognition of National Voter Registration Day on Sept. 15, three area public libraries will host voter registration education tables from Sept. 15–19 to help community members prepare for the upcoming Nov. 3 election.
Residents are encouraged to visit their nearest participating library to register to vote by paper form or use a QR code to register online. The education tables will also provide information to help voters learn more about the election and the registration process.
Participating locations include:
· Great Bend Library, 1409 Williams St., Great Bend M-Th. 9-6 p.m. Fri.-Sat. 10-5 p.m.
· Hoisington Library, 169 S. Walnut, Hoisington M-W. 10-6 p.m., T-Th-Fri. Noon-6 p.m., Sat. 9-1 p.m.
· Ellinwood School and Community Library, 210 N. Schiller Ave., Ellinwood M & W: 8-7 p.m., T & Th: 8-5 p.m., Fri: 8-4 p.m., Sat: 9 a.m.-noon (1st & 3rd Sat.)
Libraries have long served as trusted community spaces where citizens can access information, ask questions, and register to vote. By offering voter registration resources locally, participating libraries continue that tradition of civic engagement and public service.
