2025 marks year number 11 for Great Bend’s Art & Wine Walk. In an effort to promote downtown shopping and art and culture, the event on Friday, May 2 provides another entertaining way to experience downtown.

Great Bend CVB Director Amanda Gaddis said select businesses will provide complimentary alcohol to customers inside their stores.

"We do ask that nobody takes those drinks outside of the stores," said Gaddis. "It's a fun way to spend the afternoon in downtown Great Bend."

Local artists get assigned to a participating store where the artist’s work is displayed. The Dolly Trolley will also be available to give patrons rides.

"We'll have five stops," said Gaddis. "They are on the map and we'll have balloons set up downtown so people know this is a stop for the trolley. There are set locations at 16th & Main, Forest & Main, Lakin & Main, 12th & Main and then Lakin & Kansas by the Wine Cellar."

The Art & Wine Walk on Friday will be from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
