Ellinwood Hospital Foundation will be hosting it’s Christmas Gala this year on the evening of Saturday, December 9th. The Gala is an annual event and is the Foundation’s largest fundraiser for the Hospital & Clinic. With construction currently underway on the new Hospital & Clinic and an expected open date of August, 2024 all proceeds from this year’s gala will go towards furniture and equipment for the new facility.
‘I say it every year, but it’s so true that we have much to be thankful for this year. Attending the Gala is a great opportunity for our supporters and the community to gather together for some fun, festive holiday cheer and share in our gratitude,’ said Kristy Rupe, Ellinwood Hospital Foundation Executive Director.
This years Gala will take place on Saturday, December 9th at St. Joseph Parish Center in Ellinwood, KS. Attendees can look forward to an evening of live entertainment, silent & live auctions, a full-course catered dinner & open bar, raffles, and much more! ‘One thing we are excited to bring back is the ‘Mistletoe Money’. Only 50 Mistletoe Money tickets will be sold and one lucky winner will receive $500 in spending money for the Live Auction,’ says Rupe.
There are still a few VIP Tables available as well. A VIP Table costs $500 and seats 8 people. Among the many perks of being a VIP, each table receives 2 chilled bottles of champagne and a swag bag of goodies to take home with them. Guests can also expect to do a little Christmas shopping while at the Gala by bidding on a wide array of auction items. There is a little bit of something for everyone; anywhere from live event tickets, themed baskets, gift certificates to hand-made local items.

The event starts at 5:30 pm with a Social and Silent Auction. Dinner will be served at 7:00 pm and the live auction will follow with Mike Niedens as the Auctioneer.
