With a chance to get up to 600 visitors to town, Great Bend Convention and Visitors Bureau Director Christina Hayes is excited about the latest conference coming next June. A Kansas Tourism educational session will be held in Great Bend with a focus on AI.
"I will be hosting a potential of 600 people to come to Great Bend and potentially stay the night," said Hayes. "They will be coming for an educational session on AI and how it can help in the workplace. We're excited about that."
The Great Bend Convention and Visitors Bureau is also part of the ‘Meet Kansas’ coalition in an effort to get meeting planners to schedule their events in Great Bend. Great Bend is among 18 communities throughout Kansas that is a member in Meet Kansas.
"More information will come on the Kansas Tourism educational session," said Hayes. "That's a big win for us on the CVB side."
