The University of Kansas Health System in Great Bend welcomes Sydney Stephens, PA-C, to the orthopedics care team.
“I chose to specialize in orthopedics because of my background playing sports. I played lacrosse in college,” Stephens says. “I really enjoy helping people get back to activities that are important to them.”
Stephens earned undergraduate degrees in kinesiology, integrative physiology and Spanish at Kansas State University. She earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at College of Saint Mary in Omaha, Nebraska.
“Getting to know a person’s goals early in their care helps me guide and support them in working toward those goals,” says Stephens.
Stephens says she has enjoyed the supportive atmosphere of the Great Bend community since arriving. She looks forward to exploring new activities in the area.
