The Great Bend Lady Panthers were so close once again to picking up their first wins of the season, but after a long day ended at the Great Bend Sports Complex, the record stands at 0-14 overall and 0-10 in the Western Athletic Conference.
First place Garden City took two games, winning game one 4-0, before outlasting the Lady Panthers in game two 3-2 in 14-innings.
With the sweep, the Buffs remained unbeaten in WAC play at 9-0 while improving to 11-2 overall.
Great Bend is back at home Tuesday when they host Hutchinson at the Sports Complex.
