
From the Golden Belt Community Foundation...
The Golden Belt Community Foundation is thrilled to welcome its newest board members, whose diverse experiences and deep-rooted connections to the community will greatly enhance our mission. We are confident that their combined expertise in education, healthcare, agriculture, and community service will contribute significantly to the foundation's ongoing efforts to support and strengthen the Golden Belt region.
Joyce Miller Retired Teacher, St. John, KS Joyce Miller, a retired teacher from Macksville USD 351, brings a wealth of experience in education and community involvement to the board. A lifelong resident of Stafford County, Joyce has served as Secretary/Treasurer for the Stafford County Fair Board for 10 years. She lives in St. John with her husband, Lance, and enjoys spending time with her two children and grandchildren. Joyce is eager to learn how the foundation can further benefit the community and is committed to helping improve the area for future generations.
Kayla Johnson, M.D. Pediatrician, Odin, KS Dr. Kayla Johnson, a pediatrician at Clara Barton, is a proud native of Odin, KS, where she now resides with her husband and four children. She is also a member of the KU Medical Alumni Board. With a deep-rooted connection to the community, Kayla is excited to contribute to the foundation and looks forward to giving back to the supportive environment that shaped her upbringing.
Amber Littler, CPA Senior Accounting Manager, Rural McCracken, KS Amber Littler, a CPA and Senior Accounting Manager at Agiliti, returns for her second term on the board. Having previously served before her twins were born, Amber brings a unique blend of accounting expertise and firsthand experience with the foundation’s growth. Residing on a farm in rural McCracken, she is dedicated to supporting the foundation's goals and sharing her knowledge to benefit the community.
Katie Hammeke Office Manager, Burdett, KS Katie Hammeke, an Office Manager at Golden Valley Inc., is an active member of the Burdett community, contributing to numerous local projects and initiatives. Since moving to Burdett in 2006, Katie has been involved in fundraising for community improvements and supporting various local clubs. She is passionate about helping communities thrive and is eager to bring her accounting background and love for community service to the board.
Zach Stejskal Territory Manager, Timken, KS Zach Stejskal, a native of Bison, KS, brings a diverse background in both agriculture and business to the board. Currently a Territory Manager for AGCO and a farmer, Zach also serves in multiple leadership roles, including President of the Rush County Farm Bureau and Vice President of the Rush County Fair Board. Living on his family's farm south of Timken, Zach and his wife are expecting their first child in November. Passionate about his community, Zach is eager to leverage his broad experience to help grow the foundation and enhance the well-being of the Golden Belt region.
We are also pleased to announce the new officers for the year, who will continue to guide the foundation with dedication and vision. Together, these leaders will work to ensure that the foundation remains a vital resource for our communities, helping to drive positive change and foster growth throughout the area.

At $30 million in total assets and more than 180 funds under management, the Golden Belt Community Foundation has been connecting people who care to causes that matter since 1996.
