From the city of Hoisington
The city of Hoisington is working with the Kansas Department of Transportation on a Cost Share project to remove and replace Green Street and Vine Street from K-4 through 11th Street.
The lead contractor on this project is Vogts-Parga. The first phase of this project is slated to begin around Aug. 17, and would involve the removal and replacement of Green Street from K-4 to 11th Street. The project will also add new sidewalk on the east side of Green Street. This project is expected to take approximately two months to complete.
During this time, the residents affected by this project will be asked to take their trash north to 11th Street (east of Green) or south to K-4 (east of Green).
