Yours Truly Gift and Flower Shoppe participated in the national "Petal It Forward" movement Oct. 18 with the mission of spreading kindness and joy throughout the communities of Great Bend and Lyons.

The "Petal It Forward" event has the team hit the streets, handing out free flowers to the community. The unique twist is that each person received two flower bundles — one to keep and one to pass on to someone else. The idea is to encourage a chain of kindness, with each individual receiving a bloom and sharing the joy with someone else.

Yours Truly's participation in "Petal It Forward" is part of a nationwide initiative led by the Society of American Florists. This event has been embraced by communities across the country as a means to connect people and foster goodwill through the simple act of gifting flowers.
