
From elementary choirs to seasoned high school performers, USD 428’s young vocalists will shine during the district’s Annual Vocal Music Showcase on Wednesday, Nov. 5, at the Great Bend Senior Center. The event will run from 9 to 11:30 a.m., featuring student choirs from across the district.
Parents, families, and community members are warmly invited to attend and enjoy a morning filled with music and community connection. Guests are welcome to stop by for a single performance or stay for the entire showcase.
Adding to the celebration, free coffee cake will be provided by the USD 428 Central Kitchen, with freshly brewed coffee served by the Great Bend Senior Center.
Performance Schedule:
9:00 a.m. – 5th grade, Park Elementary
9:30 a.m. – 3rd & 4th Grade, Jefferson Elementary
10:00 a.m. – 5th & 6th Grade, Jefferson Elementary
10:30 a.m. – Great Bend Middle School
11:00 a.m. – Great Bend High School Madrigal Singers
“This event is a reflection of what makes USD 428 special,” said Andrea Bauer, Public Information Director. “It brings together our schools, families, and community to celebrate music education and the incredible talent of our students.”
The Vocal Music Showcase will take place at the Great Bend Senior Center, 2005 Kansas St., Great Bend, KS 67530. Admission is free, and all are welcome to attend.
