The Central Kansas Partnership, Inc has been in existence since 1991 as it began as LEAD (Leadership, Education, Action Against Drugs) which merged with Chronic Disease Risk Reduction- CDRR in 2003. These two emerging task forces have helped pave the way for the Central Kansas Partnership to evolve and encompass a broad range of work as defined by needs in the community through the development of multiple task forces that address multiple prevention issues. In 2017, CKP received its non-profit incorporation 501c3 status. This allows for increased funding opportunities to fulfill the CKP’s vision and mission:
Vision: The partnership envisions healthy caring communities.
Mission: To join in a common effort to build healthy and safe communities, reduce the risks of Alcohol, Tobacco & Other Drugs, and promote healthy attitudes and behaviors.
