On July 14, 2006, the Great Bend Recreation Commission welcomed Garet Fitzpatrick and Chris Umphres to the GBRC team. Twenty years later, their dedication, leadership, and commitment to serving the Great Bend community have left a lasting impact on the organization.
Over the past two decades, Garet and Chris have helped guide GBRC through growth, new programs, facility improvements, and countless opportunities that have enhanced recreation and quality of life for area residents. Their willingness to adapt, solve challenges, and put the community first has played an important role in GBRC's continued success.
Twenty years of service represents more than longevity—it reflects a genuine commitment to making a difference in the lives of others. The Great Bend Recreation Commission is grateful for the passion, professionalism, and leadership Garet and Chris have demonstrated throughout their careers.
