Change is good, especially in the hair and nail businesses. The Beauty Bar in Great Bend just announced it will be changing locations from 1908 12th Street to 1409 Main Street in downtown Great Bend. Perfectly Paisley Boutique once occupied the address and also returns with The Beauty Bar to make the Main Street location a one-stop shop for women.
"We're excited to be a part of the downtown and all the growth that is happening there right now," said The Beauty Bar Owner Lexie Schneider. "I think it will be good for exposure and growth of the salon and the boutique as well."
The Beauty Bar is a full-service salon for the entire family, offering services for all ages. They also have a wide selection of retail products inside. The Beauty Bar has been located at its 12th Street address since opening in 2014, and now features four stylists and nail technicians who can do everything from haircuts for men, women, and children, to perms, facials, waxing, and more.
The businesses move into the former Jazzercise building. Schneider acquired a facade improvement grant from the Barton County Commission, and expects work to be done in October. An opening date for the new salon address is still pending but will be this fall. Schneider and staff assure customers their appointments will not be interrupted.
Perfectly Paisley Boutique offers a wide array of clothing, primarily for women, and can be shopped in person or online.
The businesses will celebrate the new location on Thursday, Sept. 22 with a Ladies' Night from 4-8 p.m.
