Welton “Pete” Leroy Ideker

Rozel – Welton “Pete” Leroy Ideker, 76, passed away January 11, 2021 at the University of Kansas Health Systems Pawnee Valley Campus, Larned.

He was born September 30, 1944 in Great Bend, the son of Ervin Henry and Stella Carmen Reid Ideker.

A lifetime area resident he was a farmer. He was a strong believer in the Heavenly Father and was an honest person. He served as a medic in the United States Army.

On October 19, 1991 he married Linda Shottenkirk at Grace Lutheran Church in Larned; she survives.

Other survivors include: two sons, Trevis (Kim) Galliart, Rozel, Timothy Galliart, Great Bend; foster brother, Larry (Marie) Fox, Tuscon, AZ; sister-in-law Nyla Ideker, FL; four grandchildren, Taylor, Tristen, McKenzie, and Tanner; four great grandchildren, Tripp, Evyn, Madison, and Charleigh; a niece, Michelle (Brian) Murdock Martin, FL; a nephew, Aaron (Sarah) Ideker, Auburn, KS; and two great nephews, Hunter and Dylan.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Armen Ervin Ideker.

Cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time.
