KU completes sweep of UCF to sit atop Big 12 standings

ORLANDO, Fla. – No. 23 Kansas baseball extended its winning streak to nine games with a 13-4 victory at UCF to finish off a Big 12 series sweep on Sunday. Kansas hit two more home runs and is now 27-6 on the season and 9-3 in Big 12 play, both of which are the best marks in program history.Kansas jumped on UCF for 13 runs in the first four innings of the game. The Jayhawks sent all nine hitters to the plate in three of the first four innings. Jackson Hauge and Brady Ballinger each hit a long ball for the Jayhawks.Cooper Moore started for Kansas and went a career-high eight innings despite UCF scoring three runs in the first inning. Moore was able to hold the Knights to four total runs over his eight innings, allowing eight hits and one walk while recording six strikeouts.
