
RUSELL COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a driver who was allegedly impaired and driving far over the speed limit on Mother's Day.
Just after 10a.m. Sunday, Troopers clocked a vehicle traveling on Interstate 70 in Russell County at 110mph, according to a media release.
KHP conducted a traffic stop near Center Township, 193rd Street and determined the driver identified as 41-year-old Carie M. Ketterer-Schaefer of Wentzville, Missouri, was under the influence of alcohol or drugs. She was arrested and booked into the Russell Co. Jail on a requested charges of DUI.
