
The Great Bend Recreation Commission will be hosting a free Stop ‘N Learn Session titled “Falconry 101” on Wednesday, November 1, from 12:00 – 1:00 pm at the Great Bend Rec Activity Center (2715 18th Street).
Falconry is the sport of hunting wild animals in their natural state and habitat using a trained bird of prey. During this presentation, Don Knight will share how he became involved in falconry, how he cares for and trains his birds, how to identify different birds of prey and other topics associated with falconry.
