Three students from Larned High School represented USD 495 at Kansas Lions Band Camp last week.
LHS students David Colglazier, Leah Pinkston and Keirstin Pinkston spent four days on the campus at Friends University, rehearsing with students from 72 schools across Kansas. On Saturday, they took the stage for a concert showcasing their work.
All three earned first chair in their sections, and David was also selected as Lead Trumpet in the Lions State Jazz Band.
