JOB SUMMARY:
Southwest Developmental Services, Inc. (SDSI) has an immediate opening for a full-time Quality Assurance (QA) Manager. This position is responsible for overseeing the quality assurance processes for individuals receiving Intellectual/Developmental Disability (I/DD) Services in SDSI鈥檚 service area. This position is based out of Great Bend, KS and serves 5 counties in Central Kansas.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
路 Complete quarterly Quality Assurance Reviews to ensure compliance with regulations.
路 Conduct Functional Assessments.
路 Process reports of Abuse, Neglect & Exploitation and Adult & Child Protective reports.
路 Investigate all complaints reported to SDSI.
路 Ensure all external and internal database systems are accurate and kept up to date.
路 Participate in state-wide workgroups, conferences and seminars.
路 Performing all other duties as assigned by Chief Programs Officer or President/CEO as outlined in Agency Policies and Procedures.
路 Develop positive relationships with local service providers, community stakeholders and state agencies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A Bachelor鈥檚 degree in human services or related field and at least six months working in the intellectual/developmental disabilities field is preferred. Additional experience working in the intellectual/developmental disabilities field may be substituted for education. Must possess current/valid driver鈥檚 license and pass required background checks. Must possess excellent verbal and written skills, exceptional organizational skills, the ability to prioritize work load, is capable of working with individuals from all backgrounds and establish and maintain a positive rapport with all agency and governmental staff.
SALARY & BENEFITS:
Starting salary $45,000-$60,000 annually depended upon education and experience.
