ELLSWORTH COUNTY —A Kansas man was injured in an accident just after 1p.m. Tuesday in Ellsworth County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2016 Ford Explorer driven by Robert Davis, 79, Hutchinson, was eastbound on Kansas 140 and came to a stop at the stop sign at the intersection of Kansas 156.
The SUV then proceeded through the intersection. A northeast bound 2019 Infiniti QX driven by 39-year-old Kimberly Ussery of Claflin, struck the Ford.
EMS transported Davis to Ellsworth County Medical Center. Ussery was not transported. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
