From the Great Bend Recreation Commission...
The events Pawsome Hunt and Flashlight Egg Hunt date will change from April 5 to April 12. The Great Bend Recreation Commission would like to make the popular egg hunt for both dogs and children as enjoyable as possible. Unfortunately, the temperatures are too low this Saturday. We will continue with the same schedule of events next Saturday, April 12.
Let your pup sniff out treats at Veterans Memorial Dog Park! Registration starts at 1 p.m., and the hunt begins at 1:15 p.m. All dogs must be leashed for safety. It’s just $5 per dog, with proceeds benefiting the dog park. Don’t miss the Pawesome Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 12!
Flashlight Egg Hunt is an exciting nighttime event open to kids ages three to 12. Pre-registration is required, and the cost is just $5 dollars per child. So, grab your flashlight and get ready for a fun-filled night on Friday, April 12! Gates open at 8:45 p.m., and the hunt begins at 9:15 p.m. Stick around after the hunt for a spectacular fireworks show.
