RICE COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 3:30p.m. Tuesday in Rice County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2004 Chevy Cavalier driven by Adelina Tobisch, 16, Lyons, was northbound on Grand Avenue just south of U.S. 56. The driver made a westbound turn onto Taylor Street. A southbound 2014 Harley Davidson Tri-Glide driven by Lane Tilton, 66, Sterling, struck the right side of the car.
EMS transported Tilton to the Rice County Hospital. Tobisch was not injured. Tilton was not wearing a helmet, according to the KHP.
