5. Ordinance amending city code sections pertaining to pretreatment of industrial waste and enforcement response plan
Both state and federal statutes and regulations require cities with wastewater treatment plants to have ordinances and an Enforcement Response Plan (ERP) to ensure compliance with the statutes, regulations and ordinances. A motion will be presented to amend city code pertaining to pretreatment of industrial waste and ERP.
6. Shop with a Cop
For multiple years, the Great Bend Police Department and Great Bend Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge #23 have engaged in community outreach at Christmas time, most notably through the Shop with a Cop program. A motion will be presented to approve the police department to use $4,000 from the municipal court diversion fund for the Shop with a Cop program.
7. Primary wet well pump
A motion will be presented to approve the bid from FTC for a primary wet well pump for $35,381.
8. 2025 property & casualty insurance renewal
Carly Walker with Gallagher will present the 2025 Property & Casualty Insurance renewal.
