Saturday's Rim Rock Farm Classic just outside Lawrence again featured many of the top regions from the Midwest, including three of the best girls from Kansas. The Lady Panthers ran in Saturday morning's Gold race with the best of the best. Great Bend scored 330 points for 14th overall and sixth among Kansas schools. Omaha's Millard West scored just 109 points for the win, followed by Denver East with 163 points. Class 5A's St. James Academy placed fifth overall with 221 points, and 5A schools Kapaun, Bishop Carroll, and Aquinas all finished ahead of Great Bend.
