
On Monday, Dec. 4, at about 8:45 p.m., a deputy with the Barton County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop in the 5600 block of 10th Street in Great Bend. During their contact with the driver, deputies became suspicious of suspected marijuana being in the vehicle.
Further investigation revealed suspected marijuana, suspected methamphetamine as well as drug paraphernalia.
The driver identified as Patricia Elsen age 67 of Loveland, Colorado, was arrested at the scene without incident and transported to the Barton County jail. Elsen was booked on requested charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. She’s being held in lieu of a $10,000 bond.
