From K-State Extension & the Cottonwood District
Getting the most out of your fertilizer dollar in these tough economic times with commodity prices as low as they are - that will be the focus of K-State Extension & the Cottonwood District. A soil fertility school will be held on Thursday, Jan. 29 with registration beginning at 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Barton County 4-H Building, US N. Highway 281 at the intersection of NW 60 Road.
This program has been designed to help producers understand how to get the most out of their fertilizer dollar, while making zero to minimal impact on yields.
Topics will include KSU research updates, Soil sampling, Fertilizing with tight budgets, Premixes and Standard forms, Targeted nutrients and a question and answer session. So be sure and bring all your questions with you! 2.5 CCA credits have been applied for.
