The Barton Lady Cougar softball team will head into the Region 6 Tournament with a four game winning streak after blowing out NW Tech Sunday in Goodland by scores of 24-1 and 8-0.
In game one, Barton scored 16-runs in the third inning on the way to plating 24-runs on 19-hits.
In game two, Jaysa Anderson and Callie McConell homered to back the shoutout pitching of Jenna Henderson to blank the Mavericks 8-0.
Barton ends the regular season with a record of 22-10 in conference play and a 29-20 record overall. The Lady Cougars will be the number-4 seed in the Region 6 Tournament that begins Friday at Legends Field in Dodge City.
