From Pilot Club of Great Bend
Bright Beginnings Daycare recently received a pick-me-up from Pilot Club of Great Bend. The daycare staff are benefitting from new educational resources made possible through a community partnership with Pilot Club of Great Bend and a Pick me Up Grant from Pilot International.
The recent donation included more than $200 worth of cleaning and office supplies, infant and toddler care supplies, and favorite snacks of daycare staff, which was purchased with "Red Can" money, which is how Great Bend Pilot Club members donate at every meeting.
Through the initiative, Pilot Club wanted to recognize and show appreciation for the vital service to our community of this outstanding group of caregivers. The young people are receiving a variety of math and reading manipulatives that will allow them to learn and play at their own pace while engaging with interactive and stimulating educational tools. The materials are intended help the daycare staff enhance individualized learning opportunities for each young person in their care.
