The Great Bend City Council will be presented a motion at next Monday’s meeting to approve a bid from Venture Corporation to handle resurfacing on Main Street and Patton Road. The city put out bids for construction of CCLIP pavement surfacing improvements.
Project limits are Main Street, from the bridge to 2nd Street. Also on Patton Road from 10th to 9th Street. The scope consists of 19,234 square yards of asphalt milling and overlay with 56 square yards of full depth patching.
Venture Corporation is the only bid the city received at $477,328. This is a reimbursement project, and the State’s participation is 90% and city’s portion is 10% for the project. Funding will come from the KDOT Grants Fund.
The City Council meeting on Monday, Feb. 3 will begin at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall.
