There were 15 officers, including Pawnee County Sheriff's Office, that received training on active shooter and tactical entry this past week at the Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center in Dodge City.
Along with Pawnee County Sheriff's Office, there were representatives from Harper County, Dickinson County, Ford County, Wichita Police Department, Osborne Police Department, Goddard Police Department, Coldwater Police Department, Shawnee Med Corp., Kansas Department of Corrections and Kearny County.
Thanks to donors, the class is offered completely free to departments nationwide.
