Valentine's Day is not for everybody. But everyone loves a big grand prize. The I Love Great Bend Valentine Giveaway officially kicked off on Feb. 1. Shoppers in 28 participating Great Bend businesses can register for one of several $100 prizes, or the big grand prize later this month.
"Each store will give away the 'I Love Great Bend' t-shirts to people who come in and shop and register," said Community Coordinator Christina Hayes. "But also, we have an overall $100 winner each week. At the very end, all the stores have donated a gift from $25-50. The grand-prize winner will win all those gifts, plus $250 to any of the stores they choose. It's a fun promotion where we get to share the love of Great Bend, and people can win some fun prizes."
Each of the 28 stores in the contest will give away a t-shirt each week. There will be three $100 weekly winners, and the last day to register is Tuesday, Feb. 21. The grand prize, including the $250, will be given away on Feb. 28.
