The Great Bend Lady Panthers stayed with No. 9 Dodge City for one quarter Tuesday night trailing 14-12 after the first quarter. Then the talented Red Demons went to work. Dodge outscored Great Bend 16-2 in the second quarter and cruised to a 58-22 Western Athletic Conference victory at the Panther Fieldhouse.
After taking a 30-14 lead into the half, it was 40-22 heading to the final quarter when the Red Demons outscored the Lady Panthers 18-0 to make the score seem more lopsided then it actually was.
Emilee Hall led Great Bend with 12 points while Dodge City's versatile Camree Johnson had 22 points for the Red Demons.
Great Bend falls to 2-8 overall and 0-3 in the Western Athletic Conference. Dodge City Improved to 9-1 and 1-1.
